Biking
And here I am on my own bike
Also, I'm going to be a big sister soon! I'm excited to help out with the babies, but also a little nervous that they will cry and want to play with my toys. Here is Mommy looking like she has a basketball under her dress. Maddy had to give her a ride on the big bike when we went out!

Winter
Here's the snowman later in the afternoon
I've been lucky enough to play with my friend Leo a lot recently. We like to run around a lot when we're together. I also like to draw, and here I'm trying out some new "gloves"

At the end of January, we went for a bike ride with some friends in the mountains, and celebrated Maddy's birthday. I am practicing for my birthday, as I love birthdays! I liked helping Mommy make the cake, and helping Maddy blow out the candles and open her presents.

Fall trip, broken leg, halloween
Greetings, Fans!
It's been a roller
coaster of a summer and fall! Earlier in the month,
we had a great trip to Utah with Grandma Leslie,
Uncle Steve and Aunt Kristy. Maddy pulled me in the
bike trailer on some really bumpy trails! But at the
top we had lunch (always a highlight of the day). Oh,
and there were some views as well.

After we got back, I was at the park sliding with
Mommy and we had an accident on the slide. My foot
got caught and twisted, which broke my leg. It hurt A
LOT, but the nice doctor fixed it all up with a cast.
I got to pick the color, and of course I picked
purple - the best color in the world (why would you
want any other?). The cast hasn't slowed me down too
much, but I have to go back to crawling to get
around. I can still climb up on the couch, roll
around in the cushions and do everything else like
usual. I've even done some sliding since then,
although I have to have some help climbing up. I know
it's healing though, and I'm going to get the cast
off soon. (NOTE: Eva got her cast off last week!)
And recently, there was a really cool holiday called
Halloween. I got to dress up in a costume, and then
knock on doors, and people gave me candy! I wanted my
costume to be a car, so Mommy helped me make the
wagon into a car. Then I picked out a costume to wear
to school and it was a butterfly with a magic wand.
(Editor's note-it was actually supposed to be a
fairy, but Eva doesn't know what a fairy is and likes
butterflies better, so she said it was a butterfly).
I went trick-or-treating with my friend Leo and we
both got to ride in the wagon car together. It was
amazing - every house a new candy! I couldn't keep up
and had to leave some candies half-eaten. Mommy
convinced me to save a few in my bag, but it was only
because there was only so much instant gratification
that one child can have.

Spring update
It seems like a long time since I wrote. Well, you can see what I've been up to in my latest photo album. It spans the time from last fall to now. Lesse, I did lots of stuff. We went to Wisconsin in October to visit, went to California in November to visit, and went to Canmore, BC in February for skiing! I had my 2nd birthday in March, and now I'm talking everyone's ears off. Oh yeah, and grandparents visited a couple times, which is really, really fun!
I hope you like my new blog. It's integrated with all sorts of cool stuff. I even have a video PODCAST! If you use iTunes, you can subscribe to it by selecting the podcasts tab on the left, then going to the advanced menu, "Subscribe to Podcast...", then entering the following into the window that comes up:
feed://homepage.mac.com/mgiddings/page3/files/page3.xml
We'll be posting more videos soon!
That feed also has the latest updates to my blog, so you can subscribe to it in an RSS reader.
Until soon I write again,
Eva
Here is a photo of the sunset,
looking out the window from our condo in
Canmore. It was beautiful!
